Founded in 2023, NileOrbital Aerospace is a space technology company that is pioneering private sector space technology development in Uganda towards establishing genuine local space fairing capacity. The company focuses on developing space technologies, with a particular emphasis on propulsion systems, guidance, control systems, and space materials. NileOrbital Aerospace is also developing satellites (CubeSats) for scientific research, Earth observation, and telecommunications. Additionally, NileOrbital Aerospace actively promotes education and collaboration within the Ugandan space community through various programs and initiatives with university students. By combining innovation, scientific exploration, and sustainable practices, NileOrbital Aerospace aims to make a lasting impact on the space industry and contribute to a brighter future for Uganda, Africa and the world.
